Hi all
In an attempt to keep all my collection together for the first time, I am looking at the best long term solution available to me.
Living in the UK I have a mixed climate from cold to warm and even sometimes hot. I want to avoid a too big a variation of temperatures as that won't be good for the stock.
My options are limited to either the loft or the garage loft.
What should I store the stock in? A cupboard; cardboard boxes or plastic boxes that give some sort of a seal against the atmosphere. I would like to get insulated storage to try and level out the temp variations but are such things available?
Any advice gratefully received.
many thanks Mike |

I store mine in large plastic tubs each with a label and I keep a spread sheet of my stock with what box they are located in.
I also bought bulk silica sachets to try and reduce humidity.
I would keep in whichever location had less exposure to heat extremes. |

Just a thought from a crazy old man but I wonder if you can vacuum seal each item separately then put them in plastic containers. I think I came across this quite a while ago with a gentleman while having a few beers (well maybe more then a few). Fred
