Found an old Marklin Train! - Old Marklin Train found in house

Joined: 12/09/2017(UTC) Posts: 1 Location: New Jersey, Mullica Hill		Was clearing out a house today when I came across this box of Marklin trains. Wanted to know if anyone here could shed some light on the value of the lot as a whole or individual pieces. The engine looks to have all of the gears but looks like the braking system has been repaired with a wire. Will take more pics if needed. Thank you so much for any info you could provide! Here's a similar loco on eBay as an example: https://rover.ebay.com/r...2%3Ag%3AVCkAAOSwohdZo4mP Looks like you also have 10 000 K car which I believe is a baggage car, a tipping / gravel car, and a passenger car (red). The value as a lot might be in the range of $400 - $600, but it's difficult to say. Lately items in top condition are prized and poor condition have little value - the gap is widening and collectors demand the top quality. This would be a great set for somebody who enjoys restoration. Paul
