Hello everyone, I'm currently in the process of trying to get my old Marklin system up and running again (I haven't used it in at least 20+ years). Unfortunately, one of my old trains - a model 3003 - has been damaged. The coupler on the tender appears to have broken off. Here are some pictures of the damage:

I've had no luck in finding information on how to fix this. I've been able to determine that I'll need a replacement spring that I believe is included in Marklin part 765500, but I still can't determine how the coupler attaches to the tender. It seems like a part is missing but I can't locate any diagrams showing what the part is or how it attaches.

Does anyone know how I can go about repairing this problem? I've tried the search function for "spring coupler repair" but came up empty.

Thanks in advance,

Hello, you have to get the spring, the missing part is just a kind a very simple rivet that you can scratch with any suitable wire/metal

Thanks in advance,

All you need is the spring!
It'll keep the coupler in place. Wink
