We recently moved and I found a brand new 37155 NIB with the matching display track NIB. Am looking for estimated value. Will probably be looking to sell my entire collection sometime in the future as we get more settled. My collection probably dates back to the late 60's or 70's.

Hi, Keesmarklin (eBay seller in Holland) has one for Euro 279. He is well regarded by some on this forum. So I guess less than that figure might be OK.

Wow, that's one bright looking orange coloured loco! Another ebay seller has one for 290 Euro. http://www.ebay.nl/itm/M...ge-Spur-H0-/271318319459Taking into account the 10% ebay fees and 4% Paypal fees, that would work out to be a true value of around 250 Euros. Kolls 2015 Special Catalog lists the value of 37155 to be 120 euro, although the value is bracketed which I think means that Kolls haven't seen any recent sales of the item. Seems like around 200 Euro might be reasonable.

IMHO the real problem with valuing a loco such as this is desirability, the orange livery is not to everyone's taste. Ebay does have a large number of (MRR/Marklin related) items that are being sold by 'dreamers' and the price reflects this, and some models can be seen on Ebay month in month out as has been noted by Tom. |
Don't look back, your not heading that way. |

I dont think I could bring myself to buy a loco that had that hideous paint job, no matter how collectable, or how cheap it was.Enough to drive a person to drink. Eddie
