Joined: 01/03/2016(UTC) Posts: 265 Location: Colorado		Hello everybody I was wondering if somebody would know or has experience if I could use Transformers from MTH and Lionel (analog) to run Marklin HO analog? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Happy Model Railroading Robert

Joined: 04/04/2013(UTC) Posts: 1,274 Location: Port Moody, BC		As long as the output voltage is not greater than the maximum output voltage acceptable for Maerklin you should be fine. However, you are going to have a problem reversing the locos since these transformers will not have the reverse pulse voltage provision that a Maerklin transformer has. In North American trade shows and even at some dealers they usually use a Lionel transformer to check the function of a Maerklin analog loco.
