I was finding in old Marklin's catalogues this track and didn't find it. Anybody know what is the switch function?

Hi,

This is a 3600 AR from 1935. The switch is a regulator for the speed.
Here is the manual from 1935 which shows the use of 3600AR : https://dl.dropbox.com/s...nen-spur-00-101035-m.pdf . Also in Spanish.

Regards

Markus

Interesting!
So in fact, it's just a resistor placed in series?
Thanks Markus for once again finding the information in your incredible database!

Why do grown men play with trains?
Their wives insist they are insane
But their dreams they won't let down the drain
'Cause there ain't no thing so hard to lose as those disappearing railway blues.

Thanks Soest, I know this page but they have only the 00 catalogue from 1936 (the catalogue 1935 is only Spur 0 and 1) I need the 1935-1936 catalogue where appear the first 00 edition.

Hi, Smurfillo:

I asked someone on the Italian forum 3Rotaie who years ago indicated he had the 1935 Marklin catalogue. Let's see what he says and I'll get back to you.
