Is it possible to use a CS1 as a booster for a CS2? I know it can be slaved to the CS2. My intent is to use to supply power and switching commands from the CS2 to all the turnout motor decoders on the layout
I searched the forum but didn't come up with this topic.
Thanks, Roger |

Thanks, Roger That may be possible, but it may require completely separate wiring for the brown wire from the decoders, because the cs1 does not have galvanic isolation of the outputs from the other cables that connect the cs1 and cs2 together. I would only recommend it if you have a 60215 version of the cs2.

That is my intent. There will be no other connection from CS1, it will only go to the k83's. The K83's will not connect to to the brown wire supplying the track. |
