Hi all,
Can anyone tell me why Marklin K track decouplers (part 2297) have silver coloured metal "power connectors" on the end of the black mechanism?
I just wire them up with blue and yellow wires but just wondered what the other connectors are used for.

Thanks, Maurice.

I think you'll find it's to power the lighted indicator mast.

Thanks Cookee.
I did not realise there was an indicator mast for K track. I have seen the M track masts.

Hi,

I am sorry to say there was never a Light Mast for the K-Track uncoupler . You can however hook up a Indicator light to those 2 contacts or wire the uncoupler track with it instead of the wires coming out of the bottom.
