Hello, I tried to install 2 platines E190372, directly to 60979 decoder under the flex cable. After a few seconds some Leds On exploded. Has anyone this problem? Has anyone measure the output voltage for the front lights?
Greetings Guillermo

Hi! Originally Posted by: gamolina Has anyone measure the output voltage for the front lights? I didn't. There are no resistors on the decoder. There should be 5k6 resistors between decoder and the socket for the flex cable to protect the yellow LEDs that are normally installed. Some LED boards used by Märklin do not have resistors and you have to add them externally. Values between 10k and 20k normally work well with modern white/red LED boards. 5k6 are enough even for modern LED boards, so nothing should explode. But maybe you connected your LEDs in a way that bypasses the 5k6 resistors. |

Hello Tom! I make a test and the platine needs 2 mA, so I put a 10K resistor in orange wire and it works perfectly! Greetings Guillermo
