Since 1.10.2011 in Zagreb ist big layout named "Backo mini express" Layout occupies 50 square meters and has a lot of levels stripes of 10 cm (under the floor) to + 280 cm (to the ceiling) https://www.youtube.com/watch?fe...bedded&v=0x0HWMUX9IUContains 1050 meter track, 300 turnout, 100 signals, 300 meter road with FCS cars, abaut 10 bridges, 20 tunnels.... Very cool - so many interesting ideas. I wonder, looking at the dust, how the track cleaning on that ceiling suspended shadow station is going to take place. |

Wow.
So am I correct to understand that Mr. Matočec developed this solution for pushing power to the cars via induction (hence the big bus strips for power under the board, and the big RF modules), in place of batteries in the cars?
That the cars are picking up POWER via induction from the roadway, as well as following the magnetic track via the Faller based steering solution?
How is the digital control data passed to the cars (to stop, start, turn lights on/off, etc) ? Is that data modulated on top of the inductive power transfer signal? |

Cars follow the wire in the road (FCS) which can be operated via infrared rays and a computer program instruct the decoder inside the vehicle example- infrared lamps are located above the small scale layout

In the basement workshop, a new project  They'll be a lot of new elevator for complete trains with two-track length of about 2.5 meters with a vertical drop of up to 2 meters The prototype is much smaller but will be used for testing the automatic stopping and safety of trains  Exact stop at every floor is important, achieved an accuracy of +/- one hundredths mm https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_Nr0L3uXkI&t=3sThe area in which the current layout has 100 square meters and in the basement there are over 250!Trains will take over the third helix that will arise in the room to the left of the layout down to the basement where the final descent to be elevator   The basement was once the one pizzeria, all the space must first edit   There will be a series of models which will be connected together via the elevator and the top   Today is one room fully furnished while others serve as workshops   / I have many more years to write about and take pictures /
