Hi all,

I am considering purchasing the Trix Swedish ore car sets # 24237 and #24238 to add on to the Märklin sets. I was wondering if anyone on this forum who already has those sets could positively confirm if indeed the road numbers on the Trix sets are different from the ones on the Märklin sets.

Unfortunately, so far, all pictures that I have been able to pull from the Internet cannot confirm on this assumption. The Trix catalog says "weitere Betriebsnummer", but I would like to rest assured of this fact.

Thank you in advance for your input.

Best regards!
Best regards,
Armando García

The English version of the Trix NI brochure for 2013 states "Two ore car sets with other different car numbers can be found in an AC version in the Märklin HO assortment under the item numbers 46370 and 46371."

The english Märklin NI brochure makes the corresponding statement in the reverse direction.

Marklin and Trix have done this before (e.g. the Long Henry wagons, the gas carrying set Marklin 46600, and a number of other wagons), and I wish they would do it more often on some of the wagons they could.

Hi
I have two Märklin sets 46370 46371 from 2013 and also 46372 from 2014. All these tree sets have different road numbers.
Together with the two sets from TRIX which I also purchased you can have 30 cars, all with different road numbers.
regards

I would like to complete the set of ore wagons. Can someone please let me know which Trix set has wagons with numbers that I don't already have?

Thank you Nigel.. It looks like Marklin used Trix set 24237 to fill the 26800 set..

All I need now is 24238 and I have them all! <Lighting flashes and thunder roars as xxup returns to his laboratory to prepare> Smile

The list of road numbers that were provided helped me confirm that the sets that were used for the weathered 26800 set are from Märklin 46371 and Trix 24237.

I will know now which other sets to buy for adding-on.

Thanks to everyone for your input. BigGrin

The Trix 24240 set has "another 6 new car numbers".
The photo at http://www.drehscheibe-f...oren/read.php?17,6492301 (about two thirds of htew ay down) is captioned:

"Bild 83 / Dm3 mit Erzzug mit 60 Stück noch 3achsigen Erzwagen kurz vor Narvik. 24. 6. 1971"

So one can hope for another twelve.
