Hi everyone,
Back in August our family did a road trip in our RV through the Okanagan area of British Columbia on our way to visit family in Calgary. I finally made a stop to visit the Osoyoos Desert Model Railroad. My photography skills are not great and the battery in my camera was dead so I had to use my wife's cell phone. These pictures do not do the layout justice but I hope you enjoy them anyway. They have motion sensors that animate the little figures when you wave your hand in front. There was several trucks and buses driving around part of the layout. I could have spent a lot more time trying to take in all the details in this great layout. I plan to visit again maybe even next summer. :)

Cheers
Darren

Hi Darren,

I also visited the Osoyoos Desert model Railroad last month.

it's the best Marklin Layout this side of the Atlantic!

Poul and Ulla Pedersen are the warmest welcoming people I have ever met.

Michel

It looks great and I have always wanted to go. Looking at the photos, it looks like a great testimony to all of the European kit makers. I recognize a lot of Vollmer, Kibri and Faller buildings there. Really great!

Darren, I have visited many times as we used to have summer holidays in Penticton and Kelowna. Poul also knows a lot about Marklin and I have had great chats with him while visiting. Thanks for posting.
PS for those haven't been the Okanogan is truly beautiful country!ThumpUp
