I just wanted to see, if there was enough interest in Marklin doing a Stadler Flirt EMU. As this railcar has been very successful in today's rail market!

I might be interested in an Abellio Stadler Flirt (not SBB). Piko Expert would be OK for me.

Tom

Yes. Same mould, different livery.
If Märklin should make the Flirt then I think it will sooner or later come in Abellio livery. Same for Piko.

A two-piece or three-piece train would be fine for me. Much easier to handle.

Tom

I have the liliput one- its actually a pretty nice model! With that readily available- and in different liveries- I think its a hard case for marklin to develop.

If you are shopping for one, like I say the liliput one if pretty good, but the usual "not as robust as marklin" caveat abounds

I have the Liliput Flirt and KISS models. I also have the Piko RM/BLS Stadler model.
I would have preferred to see a Roco model of the KISS, as the Liliput model has a few shortcomings that the IC2000 or ICN do not.

I was surprised that Maerklin did not make a BR 425/426 type trainset, nor a BR 612. I would think that these might come before a Stadler model.
If they were to make a model of any of these GTW models, they can benefit from experience gained with their TGV models and other recent models with bogie between coaches.

What I would like to see at this point is Roco or Maerklin dive in and make a model of the TWINDEXX and/or Giruno before one of the lesser manufacturers is the one that makes the model.

I would like to see one of the 4-car or 6-car TILO FLIRT's. I think they are very attractive.

By the way, we will be getting FLIRT's in the UK in a few years, some all electric and some with electric+diesel capability.

The Liliput model 133975 (DC Only):

Liliput released AC versions of the Regio Basel and Zug Versions of the Flirt, but did not release AC versions of later models.
They can likely be converted using spare parts from the earlier models

Hi All
I looked hard at getting the lilput version but was advised against it by thge shop, as it had problems on C track R1 curves and points.
So I hope they do make an SBB Flirt preferably from the Lac Leman region
Tim
