Hello all,

i do not have the luxury of having a fixed layout, so i have to compromise with my Noch 81550 preformed layout. When i first tried 39030 on the layout, i faced a problem with a slight inclined curve. If the loco was in low speed it could not climb and it stayed there spinning its wheels until i pushed it slightly with my finger. i contacted Marklin with my problem and yesterday i received a package with a new tender with a slight different design and replace instructions. Replacing the tender solved the problem and now the loco can climb the incline even in very low speed.

Below attached the letter from Marklin showing the difference between the 2 tenders

I don't know if the matter has already discussed here, i just want to share my experience with you

Regards

Yannis

Hi Yannis, Is there a part number associated with this? TIA
Matt
Era 3
DB lokos, coaches and freight cars from across Europe
But I do have the obligatory (six) SBB Krocs
ECoS 50200, all FX and MFX decoders replaced with ESU V4s, operated in DCC-RailCom+ with ABC brake control.
With the exception of the passenger wagens with Marklin current conducting couplers, all close couplers have been replaced with Roco 40397.

Bugger. I was hoping they had it as a spare part you could buy. But a search at M comes up "no match".
