Hi
I am using two M83s to work my uncouplers (16 of them (its in my shunting yard)) I have set up the first in my CS2 with the dip switches set to 1, so the first 4 complet positions control the first 8 uncouplers, 2 per position. When I set the dip switches of the second M83 to 5, the next position for uncouplers 9 to 16. This does not work. I reversed the M83s and thats ok for 1 to 8, so I know the M83s work. Is my address of 5 for the dip switch incorrect if so what should it be ?
Can I plug the M83s together and use just one dip switch setting for both ?
Tim

I may be stupid here, since I don't have an M83 - but have you tried to set the DIP switches to "2" on the second unit? |

Some times you have to wiggle the DIP-switches a bit. I usually set all of them into position, even though they seem like they are in position, they can be slightly out of placement. |

I use wooden tooth picks or cocktail sticks to push the dip switches. They are sharp and don't damage the dip switches.
