So I have been away for the past several months. I had a good reason. Almost five months ago, we had a baby girl, Lillian Grace, our first and only child. Things are starting to get back to normal now. So I thought I would share a few pictures of a future Marklin enthusiast. The good news is she loves to play with the trains already. She loves watching the refrigerator cars the most, seems to love the different patterns and colors. Also, if she is upset, I bring her into the train room and all crying stops almost instantly and the smiling begins. This is Lily and her very happy Dad. You will note, I am wearing the burp cloth, a new fashion statement for me.

Way to go Chris, brings back memories. May she have a long and happy life wrec.... erh, playing with dads trains. My daughter turned 30 this year and has more interest in the trains than her 3 older brothers All the best to you and the family. |
Sad when its cheaper to buy a new 29640 starter set from Germany than a CS2 on its own in Oz, welcome to the joys of Marklin down under . |

Thanks everyone. The really neat thing is she really loves the trains. The sound of the trains on the rails and the overall "marklin" noise that one hears when the slider moves over the center rail puts her to sleep every time.
She really likes the V200 by the way.
Chris
