Joined: 22/01/2009(UTC) Posts: 14,875 Location: On 1965 Märklin Boulevard just around from Roco Square		http://www.tompflaum.com/dampflok.pdf when looking at the pictures just make sure your loco has all the rivets, pipes and nuts and bolts, make sure all the safety clips are in place, spring loaded brake shoes one thing I can't find anywhere is graffiti, strange isn't it., looks like we can't do without these days. you also could ask your dealer when Märklin is producing the class 82 steam loco, make sure you've done the weathering to specifications John

Worth the 60Mb download. 60 Mb ? wow, didn't realize that but what an array of interesting photos from a bygone era, I just loved it, regardless of being black and white one could get enough ideas on your own layout. although its in German and more detailed explanations at the end its inside stories are great John

All I got after that very long download was German text up to page 7 and then blank up to page 77 and then more text to the end. Not one loco showing. Dont know why the text would download and not pictures of locos. Can anyone shed some light on this. Take care Eddie

Take care Eddie Even the later pages with text should have small pictures, explaining the details of the photos throughout the rest of the pages. The biography at the end seems to have the same picture for both authors. Can anyone read the Latin valedictory on the very last page (well, i am sure you can read it, even if you don't understand it , but it would be nice to have a translation ).

Not once did I have the pleasure of seeing one of these beautiful steam locomotives. The majority of my train spotting was on the north / south route in Göttingen. Most of these photos came from less important lines. At least I averaged a couple of BR 103 led InterCity trains each week
