I should think you would be able to use the Viessmann brake module with a Marklin signal. There are some wiring diagrams given in the 5232 manual, which should give you more information. 5232.pdf (318kb) downloaded 51 time(s).

This diagram is from the Viessmann signal book, it might be a bit more clearer than the diagrams in the 5232 manual.

I suppose it´s same rule like Märklins 72442,by divided brake section with the tracks? Märklin do have now 126 speed steps,so i guess in the second section,it must be more than 1 metres before to the third brake section? |

The braking distance depends on the braking delay and the speed of the loco, but the number of speed steps of the protocol do not make any difference. ESU decoders support an absolute braking distance. This allows to make sure the loco always stops quick enough, no matter how fast it is going. |

I did found out, that Viessmanns brake modul do have same rule like Märklins,by divided up with three sections,by control brake area. However there is one warning about three sections! You can´t use two pick up shoes in the same brake area,or else an short circuit happens. |
