I have given up trying to raise the pantograph on my new Kroc(39566) On last year's green Kroc, I bloodied my self (my fingers) when trying to raise the pantograph. I got stuck in both fingers when wobbling the panto side to side. Now I know why Marklin does not want anyone under 15 to use their trains, especially the electrics! With the 103's I think the convention is to pull the panto towards the front of the lok and wobble at the same time, or maybe without the wobble. But with the Kroc;s I used to just wobble them. Anyway, will someone please give a tutorial on raising pantographs. by type of models. Thank you in advance. gene

Hello,
It is not so difficult. Push it from left to right until you feel the left side freed. Then push it from right to left until you feel it raises. The push need be gentle but I agree the displacement needed should be a litle smaller.

How do you raise them on the 37577 103? They are so small I do not want to break them. Do they both raise or only the front?

Hi!
BR 103 is OT here, different mechanism IIRC.
Just raise them. Maybe push them a bit towards the elbow - raising may be easier then. |
