If it is the grey pantographs as used in the 37360 and 37361 models, that is fine with me. If it is the black ones that came with the 39421 and 37044 Re 4/4I models, than that is a no for me. The grey ones correspond to the ones seen in these photos (posted on the Roundhouse.ch site): http://www.roundhouse.ch...to-Chappuis-Philippe.jpghttp://www.roundhouse.ch...20Knoerr-Genève.jpgI already replaced the hideous ones on those Re 4/4I models with the grey ones from the 37360 Ae 610. The pantographs are grey, not black like in the 39421 (right), but darker than in the 37361 (back) |

This particular locomotive is being restored by an Olten based association. Maerklin has sponsored the restoration and a contribution is made to the association for every model that is sold. In return, the locomotive will carry a Maerklin sticker on each side next to the revision date panel.
The exact information is available in the links posted in the first post of this topic.

...neither do I, but on the photo with the Märklin sticker, the red paint seems to have a "grainy" appearance. Can you confirm this, or is it only a photographic effect?

They should be the same as on the 37360 (below)

Aaahh, Mike, I was hoping you would spot it! Excellent job. Two wipers apparently had come off during shipping. I located them in the box right after the photo session and will remount. |
