I think it would make no sense to allow multiple votes. You either have one or another but not two of the options.
I think I would prefer that we revert to the original option of 500+ to cover the big collectors.

I really do not understand why some are trying to make the number look mystic...
What is wrong to say I have (about) 800 locos....
, which I don't...
...or I have comitted a crime by telling the exact number of locos I have...less than three week's time I will be entering Germany once again...Do you think I will be arrested just because I have told how many locos I have in a public way...
Come on Gentlemen just write what you have like some did...that is ALL....
of course there is another way...keep quiet and keep your secret....
and also keep our Web-Master busy on other matters...
Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you...

Mehmet, I don't think they are trying to hide the number of locos they have, rather they are trying to get their poll vote into a category that more truly reflects how many they have.

Hope you or the right person will sort the matter out in the way you wish, David....
What I have always believed in is truth itself and numbers have always shown the truth specifically...

I deliberately did not choose equal steps in the choices so that we could get a rough impression of how many locos the majority of members have, without being too specific on actual number.
For me it is preferable to say "over 500" and leave it open as to whether this is 501 or 15000. This is similar to how we see in polls where they ask your age that the last option is very often "over 65".
The most important data we can extract from this poll is that most members have somewhere between 10 and 200 locos, fairly evenly spread. A smaller but significant number have over 200 but less than 500. After that the numbers show only small minorities.
