Hi Rex,
That is great !! But take your time.
I'm looking forward to your review and decals.
In my yesterdays post here, I was talking about "another member", with whom I'm developing the Decal Bank.
That other member is "Fallerfreak".
Marco
I finally have one of these in kit form, turned up on our local site 'trademe' and at $NZ45 (under 30 Euro's) I am very happy indeed.
It arrived yesterday and looks to be all complete. YES!!!
Sadly, unlike Marklin Faller never included any printing codes on their items, neither on the boxes nor on the instructions although on this one there is at one end "B-905 (8905) 9 75. If I'm not mistaken, was "9 75" the price in DM at the time?
Sometimes you can get an indication simply from the graphics used, the Faller logo etc and from the image on this one, the autos etc I would date it to either late 50's or early 60's.
It will be interesting also to see if the decal sheets change across the variations? - I've scanned mine, included below for interest.

Note also the old Faller 'pinetree' logo on the instruction sheet which bears out the 50/60's era.
This could be a study in itself to help narrow down Faller production periods but it would need a number of reference kits with known-purchase dates to start from.

Hello Steve,
Great B-905 kit !
'8905' is the factory code (for Faller personnel/staff) for B-905, first time I see that code on a B-905 box, but I have seen it on other B-xxx/8xxx boxes too.
The pinetree logo was last used in 1958.
On your box B-905 is printed in red ink, therefore the box is likely from the late 50s or first half of the 60s.
Does your kit still contains the purple or light blue controlsheet ? (This paper has a date stamp).
