I would like to know which is the best reliable (and with lowest prices) marklin online shop for HO.

For delivery to Chicago and also if there are ones which can deliver to Bangalore, India.

I usually buy from Eurorailhobies and get them delivered to my sister in Chicago and then get them to Banglaore when someone is visiting India (which is average once in one or two years).

Walthers seems to be a bit expensive as compared.

Can i get better deals somewhere else (and should be reliable).

This year i am expanding my tracks.

Thanks in advance for all the help.

Hi Deepak,

The best deals are usually available from online shops in Germany. I use Lokshop extensively. You could send them an email asking about delivery prices to India.

Have a look around their website if you like:

Mostly Marklin.Selection of different eras and European railways
Small C track layout, control by MS2, 100+ trains but run 4-5 at a time.

I have found bwbahn in Germany to be very good-fast, friendly, and much cheaper than here in Oz (especially for hard to find items!)

I think their eBay page is the best, as it is translated into English and one has the security of PayPal... not that I've had a problem.

I agree that the best option is to buy at German online shops. All that I have bought from have excellent service and shipping to Chile.
Lokshop service is just great!
Try also
Modellbahn-Apitz.de
Mischas-Banhof.de

Regards!

Generally, it is accepted that the best Maerklin online shops include (in no particular order):

Lokshop: Lokshop.de
Schweickhardt (ETS): modelleisenbahn.com
Kramm: modellbahn-kramm.de
Joachim Diez: joes-modellbahnlaedle.net
For Swiss items, I often check Roger Suter: suter-meggen.ch or Barp Tech: modellbahn-shop.ch

Most speak some English, but I make no guarantees

Hi Deepak, my two cents worth. I have used many of the online model shops & found this one best suited to my needs.

http://www.modellbahnshop-lippe.com/index.asp?l=gb

Firstly their prices are very competitive, secondly the actually answer you in English when asked a question via internet. Thirdly the postal cost to Australia is only EUR20.00 where most others are EUR40.00 plus & the most important factor for me is the packaging. I get the item intact as they put a sturdy box within a box & it is delivered normally within ten days. So this dealer gets my tick of approval.

Hi,

I agree with Dave, as I received always the best service from Modellbahnshop-Lippe and I trust in it.

I also bought some things from BW Bahn (good prices), and lots from Lokshop.de (fair prices, some discounts, huge inventory).

Both of them make excellent packages, do fast shipping, and are honest with shipping prices.

Cheers,

Walter

Recently my friend has booked (on my behalf) the following item in Minnesota from https://www.reynaulds.com/
Marklin 94343 - Marklin Steiff Train Set in a Wooden Box - 126.95 USD

When I searched the price in other websites, this was the best deal I could find.
