LS Models will be releasing models of the 26,4m Eurofima coaches. The models will be exact scale 1/87 and will surely have the same level of detail as other recent models by this Belgian company. LSM will be producing models of the coaches from all six participating countries (SNCB, SNCF, DB, SBB, FS and OBB). The models will include the first class coach (A9/Avmz207/Am/Az/Amoz) and the second class coach (B11 SNCB/Bz FS/Bmoz OBB). Additional second class couchette versions (Bcm) of the SBB and SNCB will also be produced, as well as other variants over time. A list of the models can be found here: http://www.eyro.ch/downl...14/lsm_2014_eurofima.pdfThese coaches were commonly found throughout Europe in major international express trains and it was not uncommon to find a mix of these coaches from different railroads in some trains. I remember seeing a train with a mix of DB Avmz, SBB Am and FS Az and Bz coaches in Switzerland. I believe the train ran the route from Nuremberg to Stuttgart, Zurich and then on to Milano via the Gotthard. There were also mixed SNCF-DB runs between Frankfurt and Paris and the IC Mozart between Paris and Vienna (SNCF, DB and OBB). If anybody has the book "Die Gotthardbahn" by Marti & Trueb (OF 1984 Edition), there are several photos of the mixed FS-SBB-DB train. Uniform consists made up of one country's coaches could also be seen, like the IC Transalpin with OBB coaches from Basel to Vienna. These coaches will hopefully not have any of the little flaws that can be found on the earlier Roco and ACME models. Regards Mike C Edited by user 22 March 2014 04:20:37(UTC)

I was looking at the other photos released by LS Models SNCB I6 (VSE) A9/B11 http://www.lsmodels.com/Element...%20Eurofima%20autres.jpgSNCF A9 VSE http://www.lsmodels.com/Element...ne%20Eurofima%20SNCF.jpgBefore I commit to any order, I want to be sure that LSM will have the correct details for the various models. The SNCB version had different buffers than the DB, OBB, SBB, FS and SNCF models. There were other variations as well and I hope that LSM factors them in. The most recent production by ACME included a few details that were taken from the follow-up UIC-Z FS coaches that did not correspond to any of the Eurofima models. Regards Mike C
