Hello all, I got the pictured car on eBay a while ago, but I am not sure of the catalog number. It appears to be Trix as "Trix Germany" is molded into the plastic on the bottom of the frame. I would guess this is pre-Marklin trix, but I am not sure. Does anyone know the Trix catalog number for this car? Also, does anybody have any idea if any sort of AC wheel sets would work with this car?   Thanks, Brandon |

Hi Brandon,
The car is ref. 23805. It was made in the 1990s. The original AC wheels where available as TRIX-number 66679. Today they were available as 36667900. But be aware: 6,-- EUR/each (suggested retail price in Germany).

Marklin, Trix Express, Trix Twin, Fleischmann, Liliput, Hornby Dublo, and Others, 2 & 3 Rail, AC, DC and Digital, Course Scale Wheels & Fine, 1935 to 1960s usually. |
