Using a Marklin Mobile Station item #60653. Marklin locomotive 3657 digital. This locomotive has switch 2,3,6,7 on with an address of 10. Can't get the locomotive to operate or figure out how to enter it manually to get it to work. Has anyone got a suggestion.

#1: The loco won't run if red and brown wires have been swapped. Red goes to B (centre rail) and brown goes to outer rail (0 on C track).

#2: It's a known and nasty MS2 bug that locos with DIP switches will not respond if other protocols are active. Give the MS2 a factory reset, unplug power for 10 seconds, and add the 3657 only. It should work this time.

To make a factory reset, choose the appropriate entry from the MS2 menu. In German it is "Werkseinstellungen", in English "Factory Default Settings".
And remember where the language settings are - after a reset the "Sprache" will be German.
See page 18 of the manual.
