Thanks Stephen.

I wonder what goodies we will see. Recently there hasn't been much of interest for me in the Fall new items. I hope this year I see something I like! Smile

I hope none of much interestig arrives on Fall, still a lot of beautifull things this year (Summer New Items 2013 & New Items 2013...).

... and it is always a problem to get all the things we ( i ) like!

Still waiting for the 2nd wethered steam locomotive; last year arrived at the ends of July... This year is a little late... !?

I realy hope a class 23, wethered, with white strips (my guess...)

Given the 2013 January news items that included the SJ Dm3 and the NSB El 12, meant that the ordering of the "standard" Märklin Dm3 (37753), the El 12 (37754) and the special series 37755 made for a shop in Luleå in Sweden, meant that I have already used up most of my Märklin/MRR budget for 2013 and the Insider BR 45 didn't improve the situation. I'm because of that a bit torn whether I would like to see new exciting news or not.

The 2013 New Items , included an "Advance Announcement for Fall 2013" of New Semaphore/Target signals.

While not reflected on the MarklinDB site they are "today" available for order from Lokshop

.... Along with some other items ....
- 76471 light-Gleissperrsignal (gravel dwarf) <
- 76472 light-Gleissperrsignal <
- 76480 Color Light Distant Signal <
- 76481 Color Light Distant Signal (Repeaters) <
- 76491 Light Block Signal <
- 76493 Light Entry <
- 76494 Light Departure <
- 76495 Light Home Signal with Distant Signal <
- 76496 Light Departure with Distant Signal <
- 76497 Light Entry with Distant Signal <

The numbering implies a step up from the existing 763** signals but with some additions

I'll speculate that they are just DCC capable variants, however it would be a nice surprise if they also fitted into the mfx+ framework (the telegraphed ;-) 70*** models do indicate MFX - without the "+")

I don't know. One dealer gives 21% discount on pre-orders, so I think it's not MHI. More offers will come in the next days.
One dealer writes V 100, another dealer writes V 100.10. In a few days we will know if it's a V 100.10 or a V 100.20.

I think it is one time series, Not the MHI.

But 37958 BR03, 37818/37819 BR50 (still not confirm) could be a MHI but let wait and see.

Do not think any cab control on it.

All new signals are mfx after if next update on CS2.

Thanks for sharing those links.

The signals look interesting as an alternative to the Viessmann semaphores I currently use. Prices?

Thanks, Joan.

The English versions of those links don't carry prices.

At those prices I will stick with Viessmann. I control my signals and turnouts with analogue control boxes and I can buy the analogue Viessmann signals much cheaper.

I liked that way of installing the main box (solenoid) under the table. Make the layout much more clean...

I saw that the prices of S88 and M83 (formely K83)... and the new L88 (!?)... and want to clarify some things...

The prices seems to be cheaper (!) than previous versions... good for the customer, but not usual...
(the new S88 it's almost half the price of old version)

Can I buy only new S88's? Or need to buy at least one L88?
The new M83 have only one power input? Or 2 like the old ones?

M* already published a diagram with new boxes? I didn't found any one yet...

Regards,

Walter

Unlike with the old k83, there is a documented input that allows to feed power for solenoids independently from the track voltage.

Good opinions there...

I liked that comment "I just want to run trains..."... Glare

Digital layouts is a move forward I think (sorry Mehmet!), but exchange too much inventing things to apparently complicate what don't need to be complicated, is a step backward...

Time will tell us... let's wait M* launch the new technology to see..

Walter

Maximum thickness of the base board must been at 10 mm for the Marklins semaphore signals.
In this case if you have Cork underlay about at 5 mm you can only use 5 mm base board.
Madness!!
For those who use K-tracks or and 2 rail tracks and wants to use Cork underlay for station area can forget about Marklins new signals.
I prefer to use Viessmann signals instead.
