Hi guys, here comes a new and rare model from Norway. The Di 8 is based on a Märklin MAK chassis (2 axles driven, 2 with traction tyres) and equipped with Esu Loksound, 16 functions. Light according to the prototype. The model is handmade in Norway and because of the Märklin chassis runs like a Märklin loco. So for all of you who like something special. Here she is on my holiday layout:    |

Hi Martin
Thank you for posting the pictures.
I am impressed with the fine hand rail details. Compared to Brawa model 42703 (Voith Gravita 15BB), it does make the Brawa hand rail detail look rather crude!

Yes the handrails are impressing. I don't know how they did it. Unfortunately the Norwegians say that one round of stripe is missing. How sad. How could that happen? |
