20min.ch and Blick.ch are reporting that two NPZ trainsets collided at a station on the line from Lausanne to Payernes in Canton Vaud. http://www.20min.ch/schw...---44-Verletzte-21462654According to the report, there were 44 injured. The photos show one of the new Domino upgraded trainsets having collided with an older NPZ trainset composed of a RBDe 560, EWI coaches (B, AB) and matching Bt Pilot coach. Regards Mike C

It is suggested that the train that had been stopped in the station may have departed through a red signal and found itself on the same track as the incoming train from the other direction.

Wasn't there an investigation into the routine running of red signals by engineers in this country just a week ago?
