Hi guys:

Recently I adquired an SK800 N Version.14, unfortunately the wheels and tender boogies were repainted in black, I remove it and I want now repaint the pieces with the original red colour , but I don`t find the correct reference, I contacted with Ritter for then to do the work and do not answer me, and I make a question in TT about the reference colour and the same. Mad

I only need the correct red reference for this model, if anyone can help me, will be grateful . BigGrin

Hola smurf,all,
BigGrin

Do a Google search on RAL colors for railroads, you'll get an idea of the red used by the DB.This is not to say that it -will- match the M color but get close and make sure you can get a gloss/semi-gloss color.Several European paint manufactures can provide the 'right' color.

Let's me know how it works out.

On some Marklin restoration pages, the recommended color is Revell SM 330 (= RAL 3000).
