Hi again,
By my estimates the DRG 44 pulled 3.5 times what the prototypes pull however they aren't loaded put some scale sized loads of metal in the wagons and see how they pull,
I reckon it may be close to the prototype and put them on a 1.5% grade
Still they are impressive.

You'd need to find some way of measuring the pullbar strength and then multiply that by 87 to give you the models tractive effort but generally they out pull the prototypes a
single 44 would not be able to pull 100 wagons on it's own I don't think but the American Big Boy could on a level track.

What I simply intend is to pass 400 limit with HER.... and look forward to see something better....  but so far nothing...  |

DB 44 690 - analog - no modification - from 1960s - has pulled 210 passenger wagons - 310 freight cars  ...this is our best until we do a better one... |
