Ok I am a new builder here, z scale. I live in usa PA. I bought a few marklin locos and a few micro train locos, now my question is about the power. I bought a marklin mini-club toy transformer, yes it works and its got the american plugs, its a blue box with a silver plating. is has this written on it. NO 6727a10VA, total output pr.120v 60 hz, 0-l12v. max 0.5a ac, max 0,4 a dc. is the the right transformer to be using?

Yes, that is one of the older ones that will work. Here is a link to the wiring color codes on the transformer's sockets. http://www.zscale.info/wiring.aspWelcome to the forum, -George

Hello Rusty, welcome to this forum and the mighty Z scale! Yes, as George said, that is exactly the right power pack to use for Z scale. I wish you joy of the hobby. |

Hi Rusky, Welcome to the forum. I know someone who bought one of those transformers on E-bay. Only problem was he bought it for regular HO Marklin. So if you need another let me know. He will probably not mind selling it.
