I am attempting to hook up my ESU Ecos to
Railroad & Co

I have used the IP address of 192.168.1.104

I can ping the device,
I can http://192.168.1.104 into the device,
but I cannot get the device to respond to Railroad & Co software request to connect and go online?

what do you suggest?

What firmware version are you using? Older firmwares do not contain a network protocol so make sure you are using the latest one (1.1.1)! You can check that in the ecos info tab.

Also check whether you have some firewall installed blocking network ports. I suggest turning them off untill it works.

thanks, so now I am deep into trying to update my firmware, when the instructions are all in German.
is there any practical step by step guide to how to update in English?

even though my name is certainly German, I sadly don't speak the language.
