I am finally switching from M track to C track. In a large permanent layout do you put a bit of solder or super glue (or whatever) at the connections to the track. The reason I ask is that while installing the C track several connections have come loose and caused a short circuit. Now, that may be due to minor movement while installing and the slight upward pressure from the connecting wires under the track. I always use heavier wire to insure conductivity.
Anyway - do you do anything ?

All of my connections are soldered to the track tabs for the C-Track. This way I know that I have a proper connection.
Less frustration and cost.
Soldering is cheaper than crimping connectors as it is one less item to buy.

Soldering and then a bit of super glue where the feeder wire runs in the plastic slot.
Exit hole on track bed just big enough to let the wire out, but not so big that if you by mistake pull on feeder wires you start putting force on the soldering part).
Easy to solder on C-tracks a bit more prep work required on M tracks.
