So for 2011 and 2012 Mä introduced new tooling for the DB BR 41 and BR042 namely the 37922 weathered, 37925, 37926, and the 37927.

Also introduced was the •High efficiency propulsion system with a bell-shaped armature, in the boiler.

I have looked at the manuals for all four models. Unfortunately the exploded parts diagrams are not available for this new tooling, only the older 37921.

Here are some views of the HEM from the manual.

A few questions.

There is not a part number for the chassis / frame?

The drive cogwheel in the chassis / frame appears to perhaps be a press fit? There is also no part number?

Is the cogwheel plastic or metal, can it be replaced, or must he entire chassis / frame be replaced?

With no part numbers is this now a factory only repair?

Hi Thomas,

Copy the diagram with the part you want circled into an email and send it to the Marklin service centre. They will tell you what part number you need to order. Usually, just because a number is not reproduced in the manual does not mean you can't order it

Of course, you might be worrying for no reason. The likelyhood of you needing to replace these parts is probably quite slim. I have over a hundred Marklin locos and I've never had to replace a cogwheel or a chassis.
