Hey, my DA800 needs its traction tires replaced... however, they are literally part of the wheel. They're shiny and it's as if they're glued or something. Cursing Any idea on how I should go about replacing them? The loco is a beast, but my 3095 call pull more than it because of the traction.
Thanks!

I have a BR 89 from a starter set CM 805/3 that had that type of a traction tyre. I had to use a hobby knife to cut the old plastic tyre and then I could mount a "modern" black tyre for a Märklin 3000 and it worked just great. I did this a long time ago and it improved the loco.
