If you know the stories of Harry Potter, you may well know Hogsmeade Station. It is the final destination of The Hogwarts Express, starting from Platform 9 3/4 in London. The train is made in model by Hornby and Märklin, but what if you want to model the stations? Platform 9 3/4 is made by Hornby, reference R 8240A. But how about Hogsmeade Station?
Let's take a look at the movie scenes:

On internet I've learned that in real life this station is known as Goathland Station —>
http://en.wikipedia.org/...oathland_railway_stationAnd Goathland Station looks like this in daily life:

If you are familiar with the Hornby Skaledale range, you immediately recognize R 8629 Station Building, R 8630 Toilet Block and R 8631 Extension Building.

Now, let's take another look around. The platform at the other side looks like it was build from Hornby parts. Pity though, with a modeltrain it is the other way around.

On the left we see Hornby R 8720 Lower Skaledale Office:

And on the right Hornby R 8638 Platform Shelter.

Both items are in the Harry Potter film painted red, but that is not difficult to do.
Does somebody have a good suggestion for paint?
Now a look at the lineside:

I'll start with the signal box at your right hand, quite in front.
Here we see Hornby R 8632 Signal box:

And at your left, in the background, you see a water tower.
Hornby R 8639 Water Tower:

And last, but not least, the footbridge in the movie scene is Hornby R 8641 Footbridge:

I hope this may help the Harry Potter fans. For me, it was a lot of fun to sort this out.
Have fun.
