Another Fall New Item: 37204 Dutch 1615 in red DB Schenker livery
http://www.marklin.nl/ni...rlandse-herfstnouveaute/
Delivery June 2013 (is that autumn?).

Maybe this is an exclusive item for the Dutch shops.
Regards
Tom

That shunter would be a nice model to own if it weren't for the unsighlty screw that they left on the roof, even after the model was retooled.

I don't know; it may be just me. But except for the weathered BR 41 model (which is not news), I can't really be bothered by any of these Fall Items. Why couldn't they release instead a BR 94.5 (which was a new item this year) in its original Prussian livery? or a DRG version of the VT 75.9?
Best regards,
Armando García

The BR 94.5 was not shipped yet, so why should they announce a fall new item that will ship in June 2013?
VT 75.9 is still available (not sold out yet).

It's very likely that they will make every possible livery of those new moulds as long as they promise profit.

Too much year left at the end of the budget, so it's nice that there are so few must-have items in the fall new items brochure. ThumpUp

Hallo Tom,

Do you know what exactly "in vereinfachter Farbgebung" means in the case of the new E 103.1? Warum "vereinfacht"?
Thanks

Armando García

The bottom is all red, no black stripe below the red.
Many 103 fans asked for that livery - and there it is.

Please find attached a picture of my old Märklin 103 113 with that livery (plastic body with visible screws, but OK for me).

The My World TGV is there as well, despite of the earlier messages on the forum that the model would have been skipped.
Nothing further of interest for me this autumn.
The Dutch loco 1615 is again a matter of old wine in new casks, the model is very old by now.
It will be sold via Dutch Maerklin shops only and potential buyers need to sign a list on beforehand.
Probably, also this 1600/1700/1800 series loco will be far too expensive for simple people like me.
I fear we will need to bite our time till the 2012/2013 news comes out.
Perhaps IMA in Cologne late November gives us a preview.....

Traditionally it gives a preview of the Insider Models 2013. Neither 2008 nor 2010 they revealed any new item beside the club models.

The VT11.5 is seriously expensive at nearly 1200 Euros and then there is the add on coach pack as well, I'm sorry 349 Euros for 3 coaches, really!?

Because it is MHI there will be little or no discount available. I saw a Roco model in The Blue livery a few years ago, but did not notice that one driving cab still had TEE Colours. Maybe this is a different version, it looks like Marklin are sponsoring the BST in the brochure pictures. Anyway, short of a lottery win.......

I'm tempted by the 103 as I don't yet have one with full sound and no roof screws. It seems it also has cab lighting for the first time and a driver figure.

The blue 261 diesel is interesting as it has sound and telex, so maybe Euro 249 is not too expensive.

Best Regards
Ashley

I like the VT 11.5 also (one of my favourite models is my 37605 from a few years ago) but I think that price is idiotic. I believe my TEE
was US$750 or so FROM a Marklin dealer and the extra coaches 275/300 or so??

1500 EurosCursing Cursing maybe in a few months we will see them at 50% discount like the *HAG GTW'sBigGrin BigGrin ....

My 10 cents worth, Jeremy.

Edit - *UHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh not that I got any.....BigGrin BigGrin .j.

Hallo Tom,

Could this new 103.1 in "vereinfachter Farbgebung" be combined with the van Beethoven train sets? BTW, I noticed that you purchased those sets. Are you still very much into them, or have you found some issues about them? I'm still debating whether to get them for my 37573, or the full-scale length LSModels ones.

Cheers!
Best regards,
Armando García

Märklin has released a new "debugged" version of the Fall new items brochure (German only).
No longer announces running gear lights for the H0 103.1, no longer announces sound for the Z scale models.

Other languages not yet on their site.

Tom
