Hello all,
I'd better look at one again to make sure my detailed questions are right. Here is the revised version:

I have a couple of the 3067's fortunately but would like to add a black bodied variation to the collection. Please correct me if I'm wrong as I'd like to find the last version of that particular livery. It started with a black body with red ends in a blue box with the clear window. I know the DSB lettering was also thin. Then the same coloration came out but with the thick DSB lettering. Now here is what I would like to know. Did the red and black locomotive find it's way to a white box or did it change to a darker red and black locomotive sold in both of the blue and white boxes or was the dark red and black locomotive only found in the white box? Thank you.

Hi Roman,

This is a tricky question to answer because there may be more than two correct answers.

I don't know what box the last red/black 3067 was delivered in. If you are only looking at 3067 models, then I cant help.

If on the other hand you are interested in DSB My in red/black livery irresepective of whether it is 3067 or not, then there was the set 28524 which I believe came in a grey box. Here is a photo that RayF has posted earlier:

Then there are more recent models, 37670 containing two engines and the model having 37670-01 was the one in red/black. It was in the programme of Märklin in 2008/2009. Then we have 37677 which is in the programme 2011/2012, but no longer produced and it is also red/black. These two models came in grey boxes.

I just had a look. The 28524 set with the red/black loco comes in a white box, which is consistent with it being part of the Delta selection. Grey boxes were usually reserved for digital locos and sets.

Thanks Ray!

Thanks for correcting me on the colour of the box.

I have a set too, but can't get to it due to rebuilding parts of my house.

I just did a google for pictures on Märklin 28524 and the first that poped up was a not to good picture from a shop in Denmark, which made me believe the box was grey. The second picture shown was your picture and I took the liberty of showing it here again since it is a nice picture of the livery discussed in this thread.

Thank you Ray and Per for your replies. What I am looking for is the last analog with Relex coupling black/dark red 3067 and if it came in the white box or did they stop with them in the blue box. At least some help when asking a seller for info sight unseen. Thank you.

Hello all,
I did receive part of my answer and that the black with dark red cabs was sold with the blue and clear view box. Does anyone have the same locomotive in the later white box? Thank you.
