Once in a lifetime family foto of the fantastic looking NS Heritage units: I really like how they painted all the locomotives in the original colors and paint schemes of the railroads they represent, which make up what is now NS. Cheers, Gordon

Hi Gordon,
Thank you for that photo.
Most of these are being offered in hand-made brass in HO scale through various dealers in the US.
rather nice.

Glad you guy's liked the picture, that roundhouse is awesome even without the heritage units, I didn't know we had anything like it left in the U.S. , the location is the North Carolina Transportation Museum. Here is a link to the story from Norfolk Southern: Norfolk Southern Heritage enjoy, Gordon

Hi Nev, The same HO scale locos are also being offered in BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto colours, for the Western Australia iron ore roads. Maybe that is a better "investment" for us Australians. regards Kimball |

Hi,
Anybody interested in these locomotives may want to buy the American "Trains" magazine special edition which is being devoted to these twenty units.

So are these the Fallen Flags leading up to NS? US Airways did the same with their Airbus. A very colorful assortment and telling of past mergers. Roman
