I have made a start with my locos at weathering. The Traxx 185 has only the bogies and under side done at the moment. But i will do the rest soon.BigGrin

I like the first one best.

A comment on weathering 185s. Have a look at this photo of a Swedish Green Cargo Re (=185). There you can see that dirt lines on the side don't go vertically down the side, instead the wind-sweapt sides have dirt lines in close to 45 degrees and the direction depends on in direction the engine has been running during rain.

Another aspect of weathering or should we say washing of engines can be seen on this Swedish Hector Rail 241 (=185):

Hi the ACME locos look very nice, But i will stick with the budget range marklin for now. My weathering is all done with paint sprays no airbrushes!.
