I'd keep it, you'll never find something like that again.
Here's another device that I own that has turntables (of a sort) - 2 of them!

It seems like we need to look at old turntables
Ian's turntable, something revolutionary, from an old Norwegian magazine

The same magazine, about my tape deck (which is still in the attick somewhere)

Hi David,
You're right, Pink Floyd are back in the cupboard.

Hi David.
Great looking Revox, or is that an old photo.

Ian, I must admit that this isn't a photo of my Revox, but mine is in similar condition.
It is a 1/4 track 3 3/4 / 7 1/2 inch machine, but some years ago I brought a brand new capstan for 7 1/2 / 15 ips running. I've just recently won an auction for a 1/2 track head block, and also hope to score some replacement record/replay/speed control boards for 15 ips running.

Hi David,
Many years ago, I had wanted a tape player like that and it just never happened.
And now the music I listen to, is my Loco's on M track.
Enjoy you're fine machine.

Hi David,
That Revox brings back a lot of memories from when I worked as a broadcast engineer. We had a lot of Revox PR99 machines, which look very much like yours, which I suspect is a B77.
The PR 99 had professional balanced sound inputs on XLR connectors, and was fitted with broadcast specification 1/2 track heads. At 15 inches/second the quality was amazing. The frequency response was flat to 20 kHz, and there was minimal tape hiss.
We also had earlier machines, but I forget who made them. It might have been Ferrograph.

Small C track layout, control by MS2, 100+ trains but run 4-5 at a time.

Hi Ray, the PR99 is the professional version of the B77. Many of the circuit boards are interchangeable between the models. The B77 was regarded as a semi-professional machine.
