This is not a new Central Station, rather it is about the Central Station App(lication) for the Apple iPad.
You need an iPad, the app, a Central Station 2 and a wireless router plus cables, to make it run.
I changed the thread title to include 'App', otherwise a riot might be started if everyone starts thinking there is a new Central Station for 2012!

Yes, it was an app, not a Central Station. They showed it to us at the Fair in the Marklin VIP room, it was not on display at the fair itself.
We did the video quick and I posted it unedited. It takes full advantage of the Ipad's portability and large screen. |

The Main Station iPad app is not new for the Messe, it has been on iTunes for months.... My iTunes receipt is from September 2011... |

I am surprised that ESU has not developed a similar App for their Ecos. Also, I would think that Marklin would look to develop their Apps for Android as welll? |

I'm with on the ECoS Mark. I wish ESU would get it together. Certainly Roco has with the Z21. In the interim Xander with iTrain is working on an iPad solution with an early version due out soon I think. TouchCab also, but not until late 2012, early 2013 I believe. As for an Android app, it's called the iPhone. Regards, Thomas |
