Does anyone know where you can get Marklin track plan books from the 50s-80s? I've been watching ebay, but I was wondering if there was another source, or any online? What about part numbers? Is 0330 the only version? There must be others.
Thanks! |

Thank you, but i have a question how to know which C track to use for each M track at these layouts? |
An outsider. I'm looking for the owner of that horse. He's tall, blonde, he smokes a cigar, and he's a pig!

You're into an area that I lightly touched on in a recent quiz.... https://www.marklin-user...-Radii-and-Versions.aspxIn this I posed the question about the number of different radius curves and gave a comparison of them. Your specific question also has to take into account the geometry of track spacing and I think a chart showing which track could be substituted with another could be very helpful. It took me long enough just to do the Radius ones so maybe someone else wants to tackle turnouts, spacing etc? Alternatively, (and this is probably a far better idea), is there any track planning software which can take a given trackplan, and automatically recalculate the track pieces required to convert from M to C (or K). I think K would be much harder because that track is really designed for a different style of modeler whereas C is the replacement for M so there should be a number of direct-replacement sections. Cheers Steve |

Thank you for that link. I have been hunting for M track plans for some months, without any luck. These are wonderful.
