Looking to buy Marklin 41551 Hogwarts Express Passenger Car Set for my son.

Welcome to the form.
There are many great modellers here and there is always someone to answer any questions you may have.
This model was made by Hornby not by Marklin.
I had been looking for this set also, but the prices have gone through the roof, so I'm staying with Swiss.
Have you checked out European Train Enthusiasts, they have a chapter in the Bay Area and Sacto.
I belong to the So Cal Chapter.

Hi Rob,

Marklin did make a set with add on cars. It was re-branded Hornby stuff.
