I am booked to have 4 days in Berlin in late October..

Many years since I have been but I see Micha's Bahnhof and Modeleisenbahn Meirendorfplatz are still there.
Does anyone know of any other good suggestions especially second hand ?

A session and the Technical Museum is already on the list...

Best regards

Ralph

Hi Ralph,

as you mentioned already Michas Bahnhof at Nürnberger Strasse and Modellbahnen ma Mierendorffplatz are still there and are still recommendable.
If you click on the following link http://tischbahn.de/index.php/haendler/ you will find lots of more dealers in Berlin. Very good is Modellbahnen am ICC at Neue Kantstrasse 17, lots of used stuff for reasonable prices.

Nearly all dealers are very good, but there are a few which charge you the recomended retail price or even 5-10% more of that on new items.

That's right and that's one of the reasons we Berliners let the tourists hang out there and keep the real good places as a secret. BigGrin

O.k., back to the topic. If you are so into Micha's Bahnhof, then I suggest you take a look at another outlet of the Dümchen Brothers, the Lokschuppen. Just click on the link and you will find all necessary information http://www.lokschuppen-berlin.de/

Shop

Hi Ralph the shop at Mierendorfplatz is quit good. This was back at 2006.

You also need to see the layout at LOXX, now at Alexander Platz. It is on the top floor of the shopping centre.
