Mehmet,
That is just -awesome-! Lovely layout and very cool perspective (recording from a wagon).
Am I correct in assuming (mostly due to your signature) that your layout is analog and block controlled?

Oliver Hi Oliver, Thanks for your compliments... You are right.... the recording was done from wagon... About my signature....I only refer to the world...but I must confess I am deeply addicted to trains so I have made my train world analog too Like building a fence...hope have been able express myself... Yes, the whole layout is M-Track and analog using M*'s Blue Tranformators and analog(four digit)signals....I will try (ops) I WILL give an explanation how the system works....then you will understand me that I am not against digital concept at all... Kevin Hi Kevin, I hope the whole bit will not disappoint you in the future .....but for me it is the limit...and believe me I spend minimum five hours with my trains every day...and I wish all of you will be able to do so one day ...you see I am retired now.... By the way keep not listening to your family members and NEVER grow up... Cheers, mehmet |

Hi Mehmet, That was nice. It takes me back to the 100s of miles I have travelled in trains, looking out the window. Sydney, Adelaide, Fort William, Paris, Tokyo, Rockhampton, they are all memories now, and your video awakens them. Thanks for sharing. regards Kimball. |

Hi Mehmet, those last few photos of the whole layout are just fabulous. I could not help but notice that there are small notes of paper on your display shelves. Is that a way of running the trains in some order? Cheers,Peter

Hi Mehmet:
You layout is just...breathtaking. If you don't mind, I have three questions for you:
a) what are the dimensions of your layout? As far as I can tell from the pictures, I would say around 20 square meters. b) How can you reach some sections of your layout? Do you have removable boards, or some other tricks in your bag? c) Why do you have a computer near your analog layout? Are some parts operated digitally?
I know I am nosy but it's not every day I see a layout like yours.
Regards,
Pierre

Pierre Hi Pierre, Thanks for your kind words... ....here are the answers; a)4.50 x 3.40 so 15.3 square metres b)the lake in the middle is a man-hole(you will see some pictures of it later...but please forgive me for my delay in advance... ) c)Yes, it is an analog layout on the surface but once the instruments have reached below the surface they are digitalised, which also be also explained, and I control the whole bit on a computer screen... ...an extra piece of info..you are not nosy at all cheers, mehmet |
