Thanks, Robin
... Well, colors can be somewhat tricky - especially in cyberspace
Edit: And thanks for the link re the booster unit. But with a small layout my main problem is space -
thus I've to avoid longer trains, most of the time. That fight for centimeters ... [:I]
I hope no one visits a poor Southener's layout in Brooklyn. Intruders beware of Gators.

Hi John,
Your collection of F7 is extraordinary, and the Texas-Pacific colour sceme is not so wide spread. I suppose the loco is the digital 2-motor version ?
BTW here's the web page of a model railroader who has them all, I believe, with some nice pictures:

Hi Pierre, Hans Martin,
thanks for your kind words, friends
, but my F7 fleet is small (only 11 units, so far)
Well, on the positive side - there are soooo many I can hunt down, still ...
And you are right, that gentleman from "Zuckerfabrik24" (funny name [:o)]) got one especially nice site
re U.S. Marklins - one of the very first sites I stumbled over when googling Marklins, years ago ...
The #3781 F7 is 6090 digital-fx, one DCM. Just happy I've found her - T&P may be a fallen flag
but it's my home railroad, for all times [:p]
John

Palle, I do observe those beautiful sets since quite some time - they generally end up at ~ €500-600
However, no money available for such at the moment. Especially not before X-mas ... [:(]

Indeed! ...the price tags on these are toxic [xx(]
Ended up paying € 700 myself due to 25% danish VAT [:(!]
Had to have it regardless
...and it never had left it's box [:I]

Oh oh - so you got her, you really got her ??!! Congratulations, Palle - give us some pics [:p]
BTW, technically she's identical to my #37622 F7 A-B AT&SF double header with full sounds.
But that 2nd B-unit and those two motors create one super strong & cool triple header.
No doubt - #26600 F7 A-B-B WP is M's top-of-the-line Diesel combo ...

PS: The set on eBay is now at € 451 with 3 hours to go...

Thanks guys
When I saw them on eBay as "buy-it-now" items I didn't hesitate a moment. And yes, they are all A1 items indeed,
not a scratch and even the wheels appear brand new. Not even the slightest sign of wear and tear [^]

John,
now you could even buy a condo from the old Texas&Pacific building in Fort Worth! Seems like its high enough for any type of layout.
The east end windows have a good view to Tower 55.

Soon a double f7 will be mine.
These lovely locos have a toyish apperarence.
An f7 (A-B-A).
An outsider.
I'm looking for the owner of that horse. He's tall, blonde, he smokes a cigar, and he's a pig!
