Hi John,
RAI-MO at Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany was a successor-company of MERKER+FISCHER. The program consisted of plastic-kits for models from before WW1: Small Bavarian passenger and goods-wagons. Also a "Glaskasten"-locomotive and the former TRIX/RÖWA- T3 were offered as kits. The kits were known as complicated if you like to build models which are also usable on the track and not only in the display-cabinet. RAIMO also offered a 0-gauge assortement. Most of these models came from the former POLA-MAXI assortement. The loco-kits came without motor.
After the closure of RAIMO the kits were offered by KLEIN-MODELLBAHN, Weinheim, Germany which has nothing to do with KLEIN, Austria. At this time the moulds were so worn, that most parts were contained three or four time in one kit to enhance chances to find a correct part.
Regards
Markus
