Hi everyone,
I would like to install current conducting couplers onto old timer swiss passenger wagons which make up the 42384 set. The wagons are 22.2 cm long and are similar to the 4238 and 4239. When I took the roof of I could see that there is a inlay metal plate over the whole lenght of the chassis, and not just a contact strip over each bogey as is the case in the longer passenger wagons. It may be possible to remove the long metal plate but I am afraid of breaking the little plastic lugs which hold the plate in place. My question is:
has anyone successfully installed current condcuting couplers into the short wagons?
is this even possible?
are the 72021 the currect couplers for this wagon?

Any help and advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Bob.
